Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice in Kensington
Kensington Counselling Rooms is a new service in the heart of South West London. It is the sister organisation to the successful Pimlico Psychotherapists and Counsellors Practice which opened in 2013, and has offered the same highly professional and caring environment for counselling and psychotherapy as our Kensington service for the last 5 years. Our practitioners offer individual, couples and group therapy both face to face and online therapy via Zoom.
The counsellors, psychotherapists and supervisors who are based in Kensington are all qualified, experienced practitioners who, between them, can offer a range of therapeutic and psychological services. Although they vary in their backgrounds and training, they all adhere to ethical codes of practice and ensure their work is supervised by a senior colleague in the field, in line with best practice; they all also have the same aim, which is to offer clinical excellence in a warm, relational, and secure setting (offline or online).
Their services include individual counselling and psychotherapy, relationship therapy, group work, meditation sessions, supervision services and online appointments via Zoom.
The practice is at 125, Gloucester Road, SW7 which is a 3 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station and is within the peaceful Queen's Gate Conservation Area.
Inside, we are delighted to be able to offer the use of 6 stylish and welcoming rooms, which have been lovingly designed to specifically suit therapy, and have been carefully soundproofed to support the sense of safety and confidentiality in the work.
If you would like to book an appointment with any of our therapists, you can go to their individual profiles and call them directly. If they do not answer, please be assured your message will be kept confidential, so you can leave them your contact details and they will be in touch as soon as they can.
Services we provide
Our counsellors and psychotherapists offer sessions face to face (at a social distance of at least 2m ), online via Zoom and over the telephone. If the issue you would like support with is mostly to do with an important relationship in your life, you might want to consider couples therapy, which is suitable for individuals in any form of intimate, committed relationship with others/another. Couples therapy can be accessed both online and in person. If you feel you would like to explore any interpersonal issues, in a facilitated setting, you could look into our group analysis. For people looking to learn how to meditate, we offer transcendental meditation sessions. Many of our practitioners also work as online supervisors, so if you work in the psychological and therapeutic professions, check out the opportunities in Kensington for high quality clinical supervision.
