About Me

Sometimes life can be challenging and difficult.

Perhaps you’ve suffered from a shock, a bereavement, a betrayal and the ending of a relationship? Do you feel stuck following a traumatic event, or the failure of an exam, a redundancy, or from bullying at work? Are you feeling anxious, angry, and overwhelmed?

We all have times in our lives when things become too much, and because of this, many people turn to therapy for a confidential and unbiased view.

How do I work?

I believe in working with my clients using a variety of approaches integrated to suit the individual. This holistic approach has proven to be effective in helping my clients to come to terms with the past. I often help move my clients through ‘blocks’ and traumas and to feel more grounded and empowered.

Using Relational TA, mindfulness skills, body awareness, and human potential coaching, I have helped my clients generate self-acceptance and self-power, whilst transforming their quality of life, work, and relationships.

What are my areas of expertise?

In terms of expertise, I have dealt with bereavement, complex grief, depression, anger, anxiety, overwhelm, low self-esteem, hormonal issues and fertility, sex and sexuality, workplace issues and career transitions. I have also had experience of dealing with major depressive disorder, post traumatic stress and trauma, and panic attacks.

How long are sessions?

Whatever the particular issue is, I offer a free initial 15 minute phone call where you can discuss your challenges with me and see if I can help you. I will then offer you a 50 minute appointment where we can go over things together to decide if working with each other is right.

Who do I work with?

I offer individuals, couples and groups short-term (six -12 weeks) and long-term (open-ended) Psychotherapeutic Counselling sessions in person or via an encrypted video-call. Together, we can work at a pace that suits you, to help feel good about yourself and thriving in your life.

If there’s something you’d like to ask me in confidence, or discuss with me today, email me or call on 07989 436 807.
