About Me

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, addiction, or simply have the sense that something isn’t quite right. Whatever has brought you here, therapy offers the opportunity to pause, make sense of your experiences, and begin moving towards a more fulfilling way of living.

I’m a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working with adults aged 18 and over. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to you. Because no two people are the same, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs, rather than following a one-size-fits-all model.

My Approach

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe that meaningful change happens when you feel safe, understood and accepted, while also being gently challenged to explore new perspectives.

Together, we’ll create a confidential, supportive space where you can explore whatever is troubling you at a pace that feels comfortable. Whether you’re facing a specific crisis or trying to understand long-standing patterns, my aim is to help you gain greater clarity, resilience and confidence in yourself.

I bring empathy, warmth, honesty and considerable life experience to our work together. I also believe that therapy doesn’t have to be relentlessly serious—there’s often room for humour, and it can be an important part of healing.

My Background

Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working as a Writer and Creative Director in advertising. This previous career gives me a deep understanding of the pressures, demands and emotional challenges faced by people working in creative and high-performance environments.

I trained at the Minster Centre in London, one of the UK’s leading psychotherapy training institutes, gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. My training includes:

  • Relational Psychotherapy
  • Person-Centred Therapy
  • Existential Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Transactional Analysis
  • Mindfulness and Meditation
  • EMDR

This breadth of training allows me to adapt my approach to what is most helpful for you.

Areas I Can Help With

I work with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression and low mood
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Addiction and recovery
  • Trauma and adverse life experiences
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Life transitions
  • Emotional overwhelm
  • Feeling stuck or lacking direction
  • Workplace and career challenges
  • Creative blocks and performance pressures

I also have particular experience supporting people working in the creative industries and those in creative business roles, where the pressures of performance, uncertainty and self-expectation can often take their toll.

EMDR Therapy

Alongside integrative psychotherapy, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that can be particularly effective for trauma, distressing life experiences, anxiety and other emotional difficulties. Where appropriate, EMDR can be incorporated into our work to help process experiences that may continue to affect you in the present.

Taking the First Step

Starting therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to work things out on your own. If you’re considering therapy, I’d be happy to discuss what you’re looking for and whether working together feels like the right fit.

You’re welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial consultation or to ask any questions you may have.
