About Me

I’m a psychotherapist and counsellor with over five years of experience, having worked in a variety of settings. I began my career as a University Counsellor at London Metropolitan University, then moved into the NHS, supporting clients referred by GPs in the London Boroughs of Croydon and Lambeth. I now work in private practice.

Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working in book publishing. Although very different on the surface, both careers share a core belief I hold strongly: that communication is a powerful tool for growth. My own experience of therapy—particularly the way a good therapist helped me make sense of my family dynamics and understand how my past shaped my relationships—was what initially drew me to this profession.

I hold an M.A. in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of Sheffield. I’m an accredited member of the UKCP and a member of the BACP, and I follow the ethical guidelines of both organisations. Although my core training is existential, I work integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and mindfulness-based therapies to meet the unique needs of each client.
