About Me

I believe that all of our experiences—both those we vividly remember and those we've forgotten—are stored within our bodies. These experiences, encompassing our greatest triumphs and deepest traumas, shape who we are and how we navigate the world. By tapping into this stored wisdom, we can unlock profound insights and healing. This understanding guides my therapeutic approach, which focuses on nurturing and deepening the mind-body connection. Through accessing and processing the unconscious material within your body, you'll embark on a journey toward discovering your most authentic self, empowering you to confront and overcome the challenges that have led you to seek support.

I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Depth Psychology specializing in Somatic Studies, equipping me with a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. As a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors (MBCAP) and a Certified Sex Therapist with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors, and Therapists (AASECT), I bring a wealth of specialized knowledge to our work together. My expertise is further enriched by certifications in Focusing Oriented Therapy (FOT), Compassionate Inquiry (CI), Internal Family Systems Therapy (C-IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SEP). I have also trained in delivering MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in research settings. Additionally, I am a graduate of Harvard Medical School’s Global Mental Health: Trauma Recovery Masters certificate program and hold two Honours Bachelor Degrees in Women’s Studies, Communication, and Psychology from the University of Ottawa.

Living consciously requires us to stay attuned to the wisdom of our bodies—a practice that is ongoing and ever-evolving, especially in our present digital era. In our sessions, I will provide a supportive space for you to explore this connection, encouraging you to delve deeply into your unique experiences and inner world. My approach is grounded in a client-centered, mindfulness-based, and feminist-oriented perspective, integrating body-oriented psychotherapies supported by the latest research in interpersonal neurobiology.

As we explore the unconscious material housed within your body, you’ll begin to integrate the insights gained into a new and empowering understanding of yourself. This transformative process can reshape how you view your relationships, your past, and the challenges that brought you to therapy.

My goal is to assist you in cultivating a holistic and intimate relationship with yourself—one where you learn to trust your intuition, honor your impulses, and act with integrity. Regardless of any disruptions you may have experienced in your relationship with your body or self, I am here to support you in healing, recovering, and nurturing this essential connection.
