About Me

Life can be difficult at times and we often face challenges or have pressures in our lives that can seem overwhelming and just become too much. This can be due to a particular current life situation or experience and you may feel that you need extra support from outside your family and friends. Or perhaps it could be an event or experience from your past that hasn’t been resolved or sometimes we just don’t know why we are feeling the way we do. Whatever you circumstances we can work together to explore the reasons why you are feeling this way and discuss ways to resolve unhelpful patterns and move forward with your life.

My approach

I am a qualified Integrative therapist which means that I use different therapeutic models for each of my clients as I don’t think one model fits all. Our sessions are an opportunity for you to share your thoughts and feelings and to be really heard in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
I offer a free 20 minute telephone conversation where we can discuss the reasons why you would like therapy and if you wish we can book an initial session. This will be an opportunity to discuss in more detail your needs and goals and gives you the chance to ask any questions that you might have.
I offer both short term and long term therapy which can be discussed during your initial session. I usually see clients once a week, at the same time for 50 minutes.
This (the process of counselling) can be difficult and often painful so we will regularly review our work together and will go at a pace that you are comfortable with.
My previous experience includes but is not limited to working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, domestic violence, bereavement, relationship and work place issues.
If you would like to know more about how we can work together please give me a call or send me an email.
